Board and train is a special program designed to help transform your dog into a better behaved companion. During the program, your dog will learn all the basic obedience commands, as well as appropriate socialization, confidence building and working through distractions. We will also tailor the program to cover any specific needs you may have for your dog.

Does board and train really work?

Yes! However as the dogs owner, you will still need to make some changes in the household to maintain the training given to your dog. Board and train works well because the dogs are provided consistent clear training to create new habits and desirable behaviors.

Is board and train right for me and my dog?

While any dog is likely to respond well to board and train, those who benefit most tend to be families that are having trouble getting the results they want, and those whose dogs are "too much". If you're feeling warn down by training, don't have much time to commit to training or behavior's are disrupting your home life, board and train might be for you.

What equipment do you use?

We ask you bring your dog in the equipment you regularly train in. We will only change equipment we see necessary after discussing options with you. We are a group of positive based, balanced trainers and are able to appropriately use all tools (e-collar, prong, flat collar etc.). If you would like your dog trained with specific equipment we can accommodate any request.

Where will my dog stay?

Your dog will stay in our assigned trainers home. While unattended dogs will be kenneled for safety and security of the dog and our trainers home.

How long is my dog boarded for?

Your dog will be boarded for 2-4 weeks with our trainer. During this time we will work through skills you desire and refresh and/or teach basic obedience commands such as sit, down, recall and stay.

What happens after board and train?

After the board and train period is complete, we offer a hand over session to review all the things we have worked on with your dog, and provide recommendations for continuing training. We are always available for support, private training, and classes to continue to support your training journey.

Board and train students get 10% off all future training after the program is complete.

Can you guarantee results?

As we know, dogs have a mind of their own. We can not guarantee any results, but we can and will do our best to achieve results to the best ability of the dog. Any training provided to your dog also needs to be maintained by you!

How much does it cost?

Our board and train program cost is $850/week. We require a 2 week minimum stay, and can accommodate dogs up to 4 weeks.

Dogs that are entering the board and train program are required to complete a one night trial prior to their stay. The trial night cost is $100 and is applied to the boarding fee. Should board and train not be the right fit, the $100 fee will be applied to a 30 minute private training session.

How to enroll

If you are interested in signing up for our board and train program, please send us an email with you and your dogs details, including the behaviors you would like worked on. We will work with you to schedule a trial night and review your full needs and desired behaviors to be worked on.
