Herding

Discover your dog's natural herding abilities in addition to learning to communicate with your dog and become a team.  Herding is open to all breeds whether you want to learn to trial, or just have fun with your dog on weekends.

These classes and private lessons are offered by Nordika Farms in Joe Rich (Kelowna BC).

Mary is an exceptional trainer and has spent many years working with herding dogs. She has a gentle nature and ensures that each handler and dog's needs are met while working with the dogs natural abilities.  She will work on building on obedience and impulse control with the flock, drives and herding style. As the dog progresses cues will be built that are directly related to the job of herding!

We can help you and your dog work through impulse control, commands and more to get you ready to work directly with the flock.
